PMT Motorsport 'in brief':
PMT Motorsport – was formed by Paul Trowbridge (PT) and Malcolm Morrison (M) in 1997 to run a Terrapin single seater in the BARC South West Hill-Climb championship. The team’s first claim-to-fame over was a class win at Gurston Down in June 1998. For the 2000 season a new OMS chassis brought a significant improvement in competitiveness and over the next two seasons saw 3 class wins and one outright FTD in the 750 Motor Club sprint at Brooklands.
For 2002 the team moved on to the Ginetta Cup with the newly introduced G20 model, and was joined by race-engineer Adrian Mason and have achieved four podium finishes including one win, at Silverstone (in 2002). The team finished in equal fourth place in the 2004 Ginetta Winter Series with a run of four consecutive top-six finishes. After a poor 2005 season the team switched their attentions to the Welsh Sports & Saloon Car Championships and Castle Combe Championships in 2006 picking up four class wins, one second and three third places.
With new dad Adrian taking a sabatical in 2007 the team's newest recruit was Dan Uprichard but he did not get much experience due to the reduced (three meeting) program the team elected to do after pre-season woes.
For 2008 the team will concentrate on the full WRDA series and will take in some of the new 'Club Ginetta' races where the calendar permits. With Paul & Malcom enetreing their 12th year together in motorsport in 2008, Dan will continue with the team and also joining the team will be Jacques Wood as second junior race mechanic.
